This ship formed of giants that sleep; he’s been crossing for weeks.
All alone, there’s no one aboard.
Slow death from the air that he breathes, holding hope for relief.
But this man, isn’t long for this world.

And his guide, just a girl, her people fell out of the sky.
Still he walks, endless tomb, he follows her not knowing why.
Forced to feed, on the rats, provisions a gift never seen.
Still the girl, she’s so scared, less human than he first believed.

In the tanks, he’s reborn, a skin that was made from the stars.
John will fall, to this world, of crystal and ion it formed.
Eye of All, now he see’s, the fallen true form of his guide.
And for John, a request, she wants to return to the sky.
